About Us
Active parents is a voluntary signposting service offering parents of 0-5 year olds a link to all of Tiverton’s 0-5 services. This includes, activities, playgroup, services and events. We collate all the information from around the town and share this with our parents so they can find this information in one place.
Working closely with services such as health visitors and the children centre, we keep our parents upto date with any changes, information and support available in the community. We hold our own meet ups and events to help connect parents to make friends and find parent support.
Fundraising
Each year we choose a worthy cause and arange events to raise a little money for people who could do with a little help.
Service Linking
We bring people and services together to enable group discounts.
Philosophy & Mission
Active Parents is about making information for groups, services & support easily accessible to everyone.
But more than that, being parents ourselves, we understand the everyday difficulies new parents face. We are passionate about sharing our knowledge and personal experiences to help parents (especially new parents) actively engage with their children to help grow a healthy loving family group.
Parenthood is tiring! Activities don’t always need to be very physical. Simple activities, such as arts and crafts can be very rewarding, help improve your childs development and be relaxing too!
Our mission is to continue to supply a one-stop-shop so you can easily find all the activities & events available to you in the local area. And to host a platform where parents can ask for help and share their own experiences to help others.

Helping Your Child Explore, Grow, & Learn
